Accepting the Challenge to Excel

 
     
 
  Ace is a pre-college program specially designed to help high school juniors explore careers in engineering and prepare for university-level training. Through ACE, juniors find out what engineers do and how they use math, science and the language arts to solve particular problems. Students attend weekly presentations by faculty from each department in the University of South Alabama's college of Engineering. These sessions begin in September and end before the Christmas break.  
     
  Eligibility:
  • Rising Junior in High School
  • Good Grade Point Average (3.0+)
  • Enjoy Science and Math
  • Considering math and/or science professional careers
 
     
  ACE Advantages

ACT Review Courses:
During the spring semester, ACE students have the opportunity to attend ACT Review classes at a considerable discount.

ACEP (Accelerated College Enrollment Program):
ACE students may be eligible for up to three free classes if they have earned a composite ACT score of 25. This opportunity is available through USA's ACEP and is a great way to get an early start on your college career.
