DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

The Department of Chemical Engineering at University of South Alabama invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. Exceptionally qualified applicants may be considered for more senior appointments.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, an outstanding academic record, a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, and be capable of establishing a strong international reputation for their research program.

Opportunities exist for collaborative research with faculty in the University’s College of Medicine and/or chemical industries in the area. The Department has an ABET accredited undergraduate program and an industrially oriented Masters program. More details about the Department can be found at www.southalabama.edu/engineering/chemical.

The preferred appointments are for Spring 2008; however, applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
