THE MASTER’S DEGREE CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PE The continuing education requirement for Alabama professional engineers can be met by completing a graduate level course. Other reasons to think about some graduate classes. You can enroll as a non-degree student and take one course or more for professional growth. This could help you do your job better. Should you later decide to work towards a MS degree, up to 15 semester hours of non-degree course work would count towards the MS degree.   APPLICATION FOR DEGREE Each candidate for the Master’s degree must make application for the degree during the semester preceding the semester of graduation, in the Registrar’s Office.
