Contact the Immigration Coordinator in the Office of Enrollment Services prior to making an offer of employment to any non U.S. citizen faculty/staff. |

If at all possible, have the Immigration Coordinator meet with the prospective employee prior to making an offer of employment. |

All immigration petitions must be signed by a representative in the Office of Enrollment Services. Therefore, if a prospective or currently employed non U.S. citizen faculty/staff hires an immigration attorney to process his/her immigration documents, the attorney must contact the Office of Enrollment Services. |

No immigration/permanent resident petition will be submitted to Immigration by the University until the employee has completed his/her 6 month probationary period (if probationary period pertains to his/her employment). |
| 5. |
No immigrant/permanent resident petition will be submitted to Immigration by the University unless the employee is in a full-time regular position. |
| 6. |
Only the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services or the Immigration Coordinator is authorized by the University to sign any immigration petitions. |
| 7. |
Non U.S. citizen faculty/staff are required to notify the Office of Enrollment Services whenever traveling outside of the United States. |
| 8. |
Non U.S. citizen faculty/staff are required to notify the Office of Enrollment Services or the Department of Human Resources once they have returned from a trip outside of the United States. |
