College-Level Comparative Results (1998, 1999, 2000)
|
Go to any of these colleges, schools, or divisions if you want to compare results over the last three years for questions put to the faculty of that college, school, or division |
Faculty members were sent a survey form in the campus mail in March 2000. 306 surveys were returned to the Faculty Senate Evaluation Committee, which in turn delivered the forms to the Computer Services Center for data processing. The data displayed on these web pages is therefore what was returned to the Senate by the Computer Services Center.
If you'd like a copy of the original 2000 Survey in MS Word format, you can download it here.
A single question concerning the Faculty Senate was replaced by two questions, one which focuses on the institutional effectiveness of the Senate, and a second which focuses on the efforts and effectiveness of the current members of the Senate (see the "Miscellaneous" section of the survey)
A question concerning the possibility of establishing a conference center on the main campus was added to the "Miscellaneous" section
An entire section of six questions was added concerning the question of football at USA to replace a single question which had appeared in previous years' surveys
A section of four questions on child day-care was substantially overhauled from last year's section, with an attempt to distinguish between faculty with and faculty without pre-K children
A section of six questions on technology was substantially modified from the format used in previous surveys
A section of seven questions on distance learning was added
If you have any questions about the survey, please e-mail Dr. Richard Wesenberg, Chair of the Faculty Senate Committee on Evaluation.
