Specimen Requirements for Micro Array CGH Testing

Specimen Requirements:

  • Routine Chromosome Study with Reflex to Array CGH
    • 2-5 cc whole blood in a green top tube (sodium heparin) plus 3-5 cc whole blood in a purple top tube (EDTA).
  • Array CGH only
    • 3-5 cc whole blood in a purple top tube (EDTA). Refrigerate specimin until shipment
