Education: B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in Political Science, University of Delhi, India; M.A. in Geography, University of Akron, Ohio; Ph.D (ABD) in Economic Geography, Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana

Interests: My teaching interest includes Economic Geography, Urban Geography and South Asia. Currently, I am studying science and technology indicators in the peripheral areas of the US from a spatial policy perspective. Broader research interests spans the realm of Economic Geography, Urban and Regional development and planning and human dimension of global climate change. My research explores processes and patterns as they emerge under the impact of globalization and as they affect local economies in places.
