GLBTA Activities, 2007-2008

GLBTA meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month during the fall and spring semesters.

Meetings are set at 7:00pm in the Student Center, Room 214.
 -Privacy is often maintained through closed-door meetings. Just come on in if you find the door closed.-

At GLBTA meetings, visitors and new faces are always welcome!



Typical Events

  • Discussion Meetings
    Meetings center on issues of concern to gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender persons. All interested and supportive persons are welcome. Straight persons often provide valuable input in our discussions. Come together to discuss timely topics, share experiences, and most importantly to have some fun with people like you! Meetings are often followed by a group dinner at an area restaurant. If you can't make one meeting, just come to the next--while we would love to see everyone every time, please feel free to drop on by at any time in the semester as your schedule permits.

  • We often gather for movie nights, beach trips, and USA GLBT receptions.

  • During Mardi Gras, join GLBTA at parades!!! Look for us at the corners of Conti and Conception Streets downtown.

  • Additional Events will be announced at meetings, so come join us!!!! Please contact usaglba@gmail.com to be added to our event mailing list.
