The Mobile Community offers an interesting array of activities that may be of interest to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and their friends. Of course, one important resource is GLBA itself. Not all of the resources in Mobile are quite as identifiable as GLBA, but there is a thriving community in the greater Mobile area. When combined with the resources in nearby cities such as Pensacola, Biloxi, and New Orleans, Mobile residents have a lot in which to become involved. In addition to a diverse club scene, there are also religious groups, interest groups, and Mardi Gras organizations specific to the lesbian-gay-bisexual community. Feel free to contact us or visit us at a weekly meeting to learn more about specific institutions in the Mobile area.
