The Mobile Medical Museum will host a lecture on the history of polio in America given by David M. Oshinsky, Ph.D., on May 10, 2006 at 6 p.m. |

Last week (April 17), Oshinsky was awarded the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for history for his book "Polio: An American Story." |

Oshinsky is the George Littlefield Professor of History at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a leading historian of modern American politics and society. |

The lecture is sponsored by Mobile Medical Museum, AmSouth Bank and University of South Alabama College of Medicine. |

Physicians who attend the lecture will be eligible for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit given for participation in this educational activity. |
