Food World and Senior Bowl Continue Support for USA Children's & Women's Hospital

MOBILE – USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital has received the fourth year of a five-year $250,000 pledge from Food World and the Senior Bowl to fund the recent renovation of the hospital’s lobby. The support is from proceeds generated by the 18th annual Food World Senior Bowl Charity Run last November.

“Our hospital offers technology unmatched in this region, and our staff is highly trained and dedicated to providing the absolute best care for children and women,” said Veronica Gonner, USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital assistant administrator. “Food World and Senior Bowl are important partners in our efforts.”

“Since 1995, USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital has been the primary beneficiary of the Senior Bowl’s charitable giving,” said Dr. Joseph F. Busta Jr., vice president for development and alumni relations at USA. “On behalf of the patients and staff of USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital, we want to thank Food World and the Senior Bowl for their generous support.”
