| MOBILE – University of South Alabama Children’s & Women’s Hospital has received a generous gift of $50,000 from RE/MAX of Orange Beach. RE/MAX raised the money during the recent shrimp festival in Gulf Shores. |
| "Being a competitive group, the agents started selling tickets and wanted to see who could sell the most,” said Lezlie Parker, director of operations for RE/MAX of Orange Beach. “The situation evolved and it became 'What can we do for the children at USA Children's & Women's Hospital?' It was a labor of love. We plan even bigger and better things for next year." |
| “We really appreciate the enthusiastic commitment RE/MAX of Orange Beach has made to our young patients,” said Dr. Becky DeVillier, USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital administrator. “This is a wonderful gift.”
"USA Children's & Women's Hospital is proud to offer the Gulf Coast the best choice in health care for children," Dr. Joseph Busta, vice president for development and alumni relations at the University of South Alabama, said. "Our high level of care would not be possible without the generous support of organizations such as RE/MAX of Orange Beach.” |
