USA Welcomes Dr. Amanda McBane

Dr. Amanda C. McBane
Dr. Amanda C. McBane was recently appointed assistant professor of family medicine at the USA College of Medicine.

McBane earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Mo., and completed her residency at the University of South Alabama in family medicine.

In 2006, McBane was selected as chief family medicine resident at USA and also received two years of additional training in obstetrics and gynecology from 2002-2004 from USA. From 2002-2001, she received residency training in family practice from St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

 

McBane is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and received the 2007 AAFP/Wyeth National Immunization Award for USA department of family medicine as well as a scholarship to serve as resident scholar at the AAFP Conference on Practice Improvement.

McBane is now accepting new patients in the USA Family Medicine Center located on the Springhill Avenue Campus. To make an appointment please call (251) 434-3475.
