USA CHILDREN'S & WOMEN'S HOSPITAL NURSE RECEIVES “EXCELLENCE IN NURSING MENTORSHIP” AWARD

| MOBILE - The nurse manager of the Hollis J. Wiseman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at USA Children's & Women's Hospital has been recognized by the Zeta Gamma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing, for her contributions to nursing excellence. |

| Renee Rogers recently received the organization's Excellence in Nursing Mentorship Award. |

| Rogers was cited for her role in promoting nursing careers, serving on various committees in support of the neonates and their parents, and for "making undergraduate and graduate clinical experiences at Children's & Women's meaningful and professional." |

| One colleague noted, "She serves as a strong mentor in her role as nurse manager of the NICU, providing 24-hour responsibility for the daily operations of 83 neonatal patients on average and scheduling for 186 employees." |

Sigma Theta Tau awards for excellence in nursing mentorship are based on the following criteria:
