| It is disruptive to other students if you arrive
late or leave early. Please arrive on time. Cell phones and
pagers must be turned
off. Talking to your neighbor is also disruptive and
distracting to your fellow students -- if you do so repeatedly you will
be asked to stop and you may be asked to leave. If you have unusual circumstances, such
as the need to stay in touch with your young children or sick
relatives, please speak to me. Do not "surf the web" during class as it is extremely rude to me and to your fellow students. I prefer that you take notes by hand, not on a computer. Do not sleep in class. You need to pay attention in class -- if you cannot do so, please do not attend (you will only lose extra credit; no points will be deducted from your average). |
