Student Paper Competition

The conference shall hold a special symposium on student paper competition. Graduate students working on their research projects may submit their abstract at the conference website with clearly mentioning that the paper is to be considered under the "Student Paper Competition." The students willing to participate in this symposium must submit their full paper preferably in electronic version by March 31, 2007 to Satya Mishra (mishra@jaguar1.usouthal.edu) and Shuguang Zhang (sgzhang@ustc.edu.cn) along with a reference letter from their major professor or department head certifying the student status.

• Judging Criteria
The submitted papers will be judged in following five categories by an international panel of judges:
• Content 40%
• Presentation 30%
• Questions and Answers 10%
• Communication skill 10%
• Overall Impression of the Judge 10%
At the conclusion of the conference all scores will be tallied and the winner(s) will be announced during the Conference's closing session.
• Cash Award
Following the recommendation of the judges appropriate certificates and cash prize will be distributed/mailed to the winner(s).
