Group health coverage for college students is extremely affordable. The University of South Alabama is making available an annual health plan for all students of the University, except those with "F-1" Visas, through Markel Insurance Company.
*Nursing and Allied Health students, with the exception of Biomedical Sciences, are required to show proof of health insurance coverage before being admitted in the professional component.
