Club South -

        Fun, Laughter, and Comedy!  What more could you ask for?  When you join this committee you will get up close and personal with famous comedians, illusionists, and hypnotists.  Some past performers include Jim Breuer, Dave Chappelle, David Spade, Mark Curry, Bruce Bruce and "Chappelle's Show" star Charlie Murphy.

Concerts -

        Whether you like jazz, reggae, rock, country, R&B, or alternative, this lively committee will suit your musical tastes. Help select musical entertainment from local, regional, and national bands.  In the past JP has promoted concerts by Widespread Panic, Hoobastank, All American Rejects, Better than Ezra, Sister Hazel, Cowboy Mouth and 112 among others.

Fine Arts -

        The arts add sparkle to our daily lives. Selecting from the wide range of performances and making them happen is what this committee is all about.   The committee's events include Poetry Slams, Dance Parties, Sidewalk Chalk Competitions, and Scarecrow Decorating Contests.

Horizons -

        Horizons offers you an opportunity to present the most recent, informed perspectives on a wide range of topics.  Whether it is an educational lecture from Jocelyn Elders, former US Surgeon General, or an entertaining lecture by lecture by CSI consultant, Dr. Gary Telegenhoff; or a heated debate such as "Heads vs. Feds: The Debate to Legalize Marijuana," every event this committee hosts is illuminating. Other guest lecturers have included Friday the 13th Kane "Jason Voorhees"and Remember the Titans coach Herman Boone just to name a few.

Movies -

        When the sun sets, the night comes alive with movies. On-campus screenings, in-town blockbusters, or outdoor movies under the stars, the choice is yours!

Promotions -

        Artistic? Creative? Bright ideas? This committee is made for you! We work to promote events by way of posters, sheet signs, banners, flyers and any other innovative way that you have in mind.  From concept to creation, this is your chance to dazzle USA!

Recruitment -

        WANTED: Outgoing, luminous people who enjoy working with others!  Does this sound like you?  If so, this is where you belong.  In addition to recruiting and retaining members, this committee also plans parties, with fun, publishes the JP newsletter, and highlights JP's accomplishments in the annual scrapbook.

Special Events -

       Amuse and delight day and night with Skating Parties, Caricatures, Tie-dying t-shirts, Music Videos, Old Tyme Photos, Airbrush Tattoos,  and Massage Therapy to name a few.  This committee also plan Spring Fling, and Midweek Nooners.

Technical -

        Support the entertainment committees by running the sound and lights.  Be a behind the scenes star as you ensure the show runs smoothly.

        Make your dream trip a reality. Exhilarate your college life with hot vacations to cool places like Steamboat Springs, Colorado or Orlando, Florida, Mexico. Help plan everything from Gulf Shores day excursions to Disney World Spring Break Trips.
