Japan Karate Association
The English version of the JKA's Home Page. This nonprofit organization is recognized by the Ministry of Education in Japan.

Louisiana Karate Association
LKA is the oldest traditional Karate organization in the south and is the headquarters of the JKA/AF. It was established in 1965 by Takayuki Mikami, 8th degree black belt. Mr. Mikami is the Chief Instructor and founder.

Japan Karate Association/American Federation
The JKA/AF was founded in 2008 by JKA Master Takayuki Mikami. It is an affiliated member of the JKA World Federation in Tokyo, Japan, which, along with the JKA, is the only independent karate entity legally and officially recognized by the Japanese government as an association of members (Shadan Hojin) for the promotion of karate.

Birmingham Shotokan Karate Club
The Birmingham, Alabama, Shotokan Karate Club is a member of the All South Karate Federation, and the JKA/AF

Tulane Karate Club
The Tulane University Karate Club in New Orleans, LA

Shotokan Karate at LSU
A member of the All South Karate Federation, JKA, and is the oldest student organization still in existence at Louisiana State University.

Florida State University Karate Club
The FSU Karate Club is a member of the South Atlantic Karate Association, which is an affiliate of the JKA.

University of West Florida Shotokan Karate Club
UWF Karate is affiliated with the JKA, and a member of the South Atlantic Karate Association
