The Laidlaw Performing Arts Center is home to the University of South Alabama’s Music and Dramatic Arts departments. The building is a 52,000 square foot facility that features two performing spaces, a 300 seat recital hall, 2 dressing rooms with makeup facilities, a 1100 square foot acting lab/rehearsal hall, a conference room and green room. The family of the late John W. Laidlaw provided a generous contribution toward the center which was formally completed and dedicated in 1998. |
