The University of South Alabama Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a non tenure-track (12-month) Instructor position in mathematics starting August 15, 2013.
The Instructor position is renewable each year subject to annual review and evaluation. The teaching load is 4, 4, and 2 courses during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters respectively. Additionally, the position will involve assisting in the development and implementation of online components of our lower level courses, as well as other teaching related activities.
Applicants must have at least a masters degree in mathematics. Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching. A completed application consists of a cover letter, vita, a statement of teaching philosophy, three original signed letters of recommendation, and official graduate and undergraduate transcripts.
