The University of South Alabama Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a non tenure-track (12-month) Instructor/Assistant Professor position starting August 15, 2014.
The Instructor/Assistant Professor position is renewable each year subject to annual review and evaluation. The teaching load is 4, 4, and 2 courses during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters respectively. Additionally, the responsibilities will involve coordinating assessment activities and other teaching related activities.
Applicants must have at least a masters degree, with a doctorate preferred, in mathematics or a related field. Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching.
