The University of South Alabama Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a non- tenure track (9-month, one year only) Instructor position in statistics starting August 15, 2014.
The teaching load is 4 courses during each of the Fall and Spring semesters. Additionally, the position will involve assisting in the development and implementation of online components of our lower level courses, as well as other teaching related activities.
Applicants must have at least a masters degree in statistics with some experience teaching undergraduate level statistics. Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching. A completed application consists of a cover letter, vita, a statement of teaching philosophy, three original signed letters of recommendation, and official graduate and undergraduate transcripts.
