The Annual Mathematics Contest  and
  Christopher Nash Scholarship Competition

  Every April, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics sponsors a mathematics
  contest in conjunction with the Christopher Nash Scholarship competition.

  All full-time undergraduate USA students are invited to enter the contest. It is a
  two-hour written examination.  The problems do not require any mathematical
  knowledge above the Calculus II level.

• Prizes are awarded to the two contestants who get the highest scores.
• Every participant receives a math book.
• Any contestant scoring at least 30% on the examination who has been
  a mathematics and statistics major since the Fall Semester of 2009
  is also competing for the $500 Christopher Nash Scholarship Award.
