What is it ?

it is a student-run club for students interested or involved in math-stat classes

What is its purpose ?

to have fun with other math-stat people

Who runs the club ?

you do, it belongs to the students, not to the faculty

Isn’t it just a sneaky way to make us do more math and stat ?

No, it is just a sneaky way to have fun.

Fun ? Can you really have fun in a math-stat club ?

Well, you only can if you try.

What sort of things will we do ?

There will be parties, lunches, maybe even field-trips -- did you know there is an awful lot of math and stat going on at a casino ? -- just kidding, we would never do anything naughty in the club.
