For Window's users here is a step-by-step set of instructions for obtaining a public TeX processing system:

Go to the MiKTeX site and click download. This will download the install file for MiKTeX.
Run the MiKTeX setup-2.9 file (or most recent version) to install MiKTeX
Now go to Cleansofts to install TeXnicCenter.
(your download should begin after a few seconds)
Run TXCSetup_1StableRC1.exe to install TeXnicCenter.
Once installed run the setup wizard for TeXnicCenter and enter destination path for Tex.exe.
(tex.exe should be in C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin, of course depending on
where you install MiKTeX 2.9)
Usual disclaimer: I have not done this process myself. If it doesn't work, you are on your own. Also, on Chrome, I see that some of the downloads are occurring automatically.

Courtesy one of our student, here is an example LaTeX file that is replete with notation. Meanwhile, here is the output. I'll post other examples, as I get them. I am not warrantying that the proofs here are 100% correct. But they are certainly pretty good.
