ANNOUNCEMENTS

Feb. 12   We constructed a function in class that is continuous everywhere but not differentiable anywhere. Here is a graph of the first few four summands (jpeg), and here is a movie of the first four partial sum functions (mov). (Technically, these functions are slightly different from those discussed in class, but the pictures are essentially the same.)

Jan. 7   Here is the link to a picture of the surface we talked about in class that is discontinuous at the origin.
