- Cancer Immunotherapy - to find improved treatments, prevention, and cure for cancers through manipulation of the immune system.
- Strategies for selection of gene-transduced stem cells - tested in vitro and in vivo. A newly developed protocol of culture and gene transduction of neural stem cells will be utilized for gene therapy of primary and metastatic brain tumors.
- Identification of proteomic markers for cancer and their trace analysis within biological fluids and tissues.
- Preclinical cancer pharmacology - a gene-therapy approach.
- Understanding the regulation of various metastasis related genes by epigenetic modification.
- Role of transcription regulatory proteins and complexes in metastasis.
