Geography 101: Atmospheric Processes

Purpose:

GEO 101 is a course that provides a student with an understanding of our atmosphere’s structure

and behavior and its link to the earth’s hydrosphere and lithosphere. The student will also learn basic

geographic skills needed in studying the atmosphere such as earth-sun relationships and mapping.

Location:  Room 1102, Mitchell Center, USA Main Campus.

 

Times:      Lecture  …….   10:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  MWF

 

First Exam:  September 21.  Chapter 1, Chapter 2 (through Isolines), Chapter 3.

Second Exam: October 21.  Chapters 4 and 5.

Third Exam:  November 16. Chapters 6 and 7.

 

 

Location:   USA Baldwin County, Fairhope, Alabama

 

Times:       Lecture:  6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.   Tuesday    

                   Lab.:      6:00 p.m. -  7:40 p.m.   Thursday

 

First Lecture Exam: Chapter 1, Chapter 2 (through Isolines). Sept. 27. 

First Lab. Exam:  Exercises 2-8, 10-11.  October 11. 

Second Lecture Exam:  November 1.  Chapters 4-6.               

Third Lecture Exam: December 6. Chapters 7 and 8. Comprehensive Section.
