Meteorology 341: Climatology

Purpose:

MET-GEO 341 will focus on the use of climate data, the patterns of world climate and the reasons for these patterns and anomalies.

 

Meeting Times and Place:  MTWThF 11:30 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.  MC 1628

 

Text:   None  (Selected Readings)

 

The first half of the course and will include climate classification and regional climatology. A few selected readings will be covered and will be made available. Also a brief paper will be assigned and will be due on the final exam day.

 

Since there will be many handouts, a notebook will be required. The notebook will include handouts and completed labs and will be graded at the end of the course and returned.

 

Further details on the course will be contained in the course syllabus. This will be provided during the first week of class.
