STEP
1 To
Download and Install WinZip:
| |
Go
to the WinZip web page (www.winzip.com)
|
| |
Click
on the icon/link to download WinZip for your operating
system When prompted, indicate that you want to "Save
this file to disk," and specify a location. Usually,
the desktop in Windows 95/98 is a good place to save the
file.
|
| |
Once
it has completed downloading, exit your web browser, locate
the file(named winzip95.exe or something equivalent),
and double click on it.
|
| |
Accept
the default installation options as they are presented
to you. NOTE: If you choose the "Winzip Wizard"
interface option, the program will help you zip and unzip
files through its own "wizard." If you choose
the "Classic" interface, you will need to do
more on your own. The following instructions are for zipping
a file or files using the "Classic" interface.
