FULL MOON PADDLE
Come join Campus Recreation and Outdoor Adventures for a Full Moon Paddle on Mobile Bay on Wednesday, August 1.
We will depart from Scott’s Landing on the Causeway, paddle up the Blakeley River, and then dip into surrounding waterways and head into Justins Bay. We will pass by alligators, jumping fish, and other “creatures of the night.” In Justin’s Bay, we will tie up the canoes and kayaks on the water and have a picnic dinner as we gaze at the stars and of course watch the gorgeous “moon over Mobile” rise in the sky.
Meet at Scott’s Landing at 7 p.m. We will put in around 7:30 p.m., paddle for two to two and a half hours and return around 10:00 p.m. (Let us know if you need a ride).
Cost: $10 for students, $12 for family members; $15 for staff/faculty/alums, $17 for family members, $20 for non-USA. We will supply kayaks and canoes and transportation, you supply dinner and flashlights.
