Scuba Dive Panama City
Come join Campus Recreation and Outdoor Adventures as we go Scuba diving in Panama City on Saturday-Sunday, April 20/21.
Panama City Beach’s Scuba Diving hot spots include over 50 wrecks, surprising amounts of amazing reefs, and hundreds of man-made artificial reefs. To scuba dive in Panama City and more particularly to scuba dive the waters off Panama City Beach you need to be certified as an open water diver.
We will camp at St. Andrews State Park; well-known for its sugar white sands and emerald green waters, this former military reservation has over one-and-a-half miles of beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and Grand Lagoon. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and canoeing.
Costs will vary depending on whether you want to just snorkel or scuba dive on the jetties or off of a dive boat.
To determine interest in this trip, please send your name and cell phone to Randy Hunter at rhunter@usouthal.edu. As soon as we have at least 6 people who wish to go, we will meet and discuss costs and logistics.
