ABCs of Camping
Monday, June 8

Come join Campus Recreation and Outdoor Adventures as we teach you the ABCs of Camping on Monday, June 8.  This 90 minute workshop will be held in the Campus Rec Center from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  We will discuss such basics as setting up and putting away tents, backpacks (buying, fitting, filling), gear, cooking, footwear, food… a great introduction to overcoming any fears you may have of heading out into the woods.

Cost: FREE for students, $5 for faculty/staff/one family member, $10 for non-USA.

Sign up: Sign-up: with Randy Hunter, Campus Recreation.  A $5 deposit is required to sign-up; the full amount is due no later than Thursday, June 5.  All payments must be in check form only, payable to “U.S.A.”  Checks will not be deposited until after the class. Students will get their money back if they show up to class; all fees will be refunded if class is canceled. Deadline is Thursday, June 4.

Class limit: Twelve.
