Turnitin is an online tool that can r ecognize and prevent plagiarism in students’ written work. It can also be used to help students improve their writing.
Faculty set up their courses in the Turnitin site, and student papers are submitted online. All submitted papers are compared to the Internet, academic journals, and millions of student papers that have already been submitted to Turnitin.
- Contact your College’s TURNITIN administrator to set up a class account.
- You will receive a class account ID number and password.
- Visit www.turnitin.com, create a user profile, and use the account ID and password to join.
