Membership Information

In order to qualify for membership into Phi Beta Delta at the University of South Alabama, students must have studied at the University for at least one year, and must further meet one of the following qualifications:

• International undergraduate students in junior or senior standing with a minimum cumulative University GPA of 3.5. International graduate students with a minimum cumulative University GPA of 3.5.
• U.S. undergraduate students who have been involved in an approved study abroad program for a minimum of one semester, and in who are junior or senior standing with a minimum cumulative University GPA of 3.5.
• U.S. graduate students who have been involved in an approved study abroad program for a minimum of one semester, and who have a minimum cumulative University GPA of 3.5.

University faculty and staff who have demonstrated interest and involvement in international scholarly activities may also qualify for membership.

Membership dues are $45.00 for new members and $20.00 for continuing members (renewals). New members will receive a certificate recognizing their induction into the Society, as well as a medallion which can be worn during commencement.

Membership in Phi Beta Delta also requires nomination by a current member in good standing. For further information about membership in the Delta Eta Chapter of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society, please contact:
