FLASH
Flash is a program which implements a simplified model of
integrate-and-fire pulse-coupled oscillators. It is based on the game
"Flash," described by Ian Stewart in his article "The Synchronicity of
Firefly Flashing," which appeared in the Mathematical Recreations
section, pp. 104 - 106, of the March 1999 edition of Scientific
American. Both the game and this program demonstrate systems of
such oscillators and allow for experimenting with various parameters
affecting them. For more information about the game and my program, see
the Flash Page.
ARGMAKER
From user's input this program generates sentences for sentential logic
problems. Using these, the program can then create sets of sentences and
arguments, and provide information about the results, e.g., which
arguments are valid and which invalid. For more information, see the
Argmaker Page [which is not yet implemented].
