Believing in the betterment of society through helping others, Phi Mu named Children's Miracle Network as its national philanthropy. Since 1986, Phi Mu has raised over 4 million dollars for CMN. Locally the Kappa Omega chapter lends help to others through our fundraisers, such as our "Cook Out for Kids", Rock-A-Thon, and balloon sales. Phi Mu sisters also visit our local CMN hospital, USA Children's and Women's Hospital. We bring the children different types of "goodies", including Valentine cards, Easter -basket flower pots and Halloween games.

The Kappa Omega Chapter hosted our first annual Cook Out for Kids during September 2003. The event has a huge success. Students, faculty, family and friends of Phi Mus came out and enjoyed grilled hamburgers and hotdogs not to mention great, live music! The cook-out raised over $2500 for CMN.
