Public Fingerprinting Service

The University of South Alabama Police Department offers public fingerprinting services. Fingerprints are done using the Visionics Fingerprinter DBI Livescan System. We are one of the few agencies in Alabama using this cutting-edge technology. This new system does not require the use of ink, and is virtually error-proof. Fingerprinting can usually be accomplished within a ten-minute time frame. This service is available at Faculty Court South Room 20 at the University of South Alabama Police Department.

Fingerprinting services are available on Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Fridays 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.. The cost is $20.00. Payment may be made by cash or check. A valid identification (Driver's License, State I.D. Card, Passport) is necessary. Available by appointment only.
