The University of South Alabama Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in criminal justice at the rank of assistant professor or instructor starting August 15, 2014. Applicants with a Ph.D. degree will be considered for assistant professor position while those with a Masterís degree will be considered for instructor position. Either a Ph.D. or Masterís degree in criminal justice is required for this position. Prior teaching experience at college level is highly desirable. The successful candidate will teach four (4) courses each semester (fall and spring), primarily on the Baldwin County campus of the University of South Alabama. He/she will also be responsible for advising criminal justice students on the Baldwin County campus and be actively engaged in program development.
