The USA Post Office will
make every effort to process late mail received
through the window to make the 3:30 p.m. dispatch.
This is the time the U.S. Postal truck leaves
the USA campus. However, to insure timely processing,
large mailings of 50 or more pieces must be
received by 3:00 p.m. with the correct account
number properly affixed.

During some school
holidays, especially during Christmas break,
a notice will be circulated as to the limited
working schedules during this period.
Notice
Departments who are anticipating
large mail-outs are encouraged to involve
the USA Post Office early in the planning
stages so that mailings can be accomplished
at the least cost with timely delivery.
Mail that is improperly prepared, non-standard,
or reflects an improper permit number will
result in higher postage rates, or, at worst,
be not-mailable. With this in mind, you
are urged to gather mailing information
prior to sending a publication to the printer. |
