USA Seeks Students for Summer Internships in Astrobiology
The University of South Alabama is seeking undergraduate science and engineering majors to apply for the Goddard Center for Summer Undergraduate Internships in Astrobiology.
The ten-week internship in astrobiology will take place at the Goddard Space Flight Center. Students will receive a stipend in addition to housing at the University of Maryland, where students will participate in specific research programs, work directly with a team of Goddard scientists, and meet with team members to learn more about his/her respective area of research.
"This is an outstanding opportunity for undergraduate students in the fields of science and engineering," said Dr. Samuel Strada, USA campus director of the Alabama Space Grant Consortium. "The program will give participants the chance to gain valuable experience while working alongside scientists at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center."
The Goddard Center for Astrobiology is one of 16 lead teams in the NASA Astrobiology Institute.
