Anti-Violence Benefit Production to be Held at USA

The University of South Alabama's Feminists for Progress will present V-Day, a benefit production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" to be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26 in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. A second performance will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 27 at the same location. Admission is $5 for students and $7 for the general public.

V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. It promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations.
