National Players Coming to University of South Alabama to Celebrate Third Annual Shakespeare Festival on February 18
America's longest running classical touring company, the National Players of Washington, D.C. will present a series of free acting workshops for University of South Alabama students, along with all area students and their teachers and professors at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center on the USA campus from 10:15 a.m.-noon, Friday, Feb. 18.
The morning workshops and 8 p.m., one-time performance of "Romeo and Juliet" in the newly renovated Saenger Theater are part of the Third Annual Mobile Shakespeare Festival sponsored by the English Department and the College of Arts and Sciences.
While admission is free for all area students and faculty, general admission is $15. More information is available by calling 460-7685.
The theater opens at 7 p.m. for ticket purchases. No advance ticket purchases will be made as seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
