USA Center for Healthy Communities to Host Nonprofit Management Program on Tuesday, March 8 at 6 p.m.
The University of South Alabama Center for Healthy Communities will host a Nonprofit Management Program at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 in the USA Student Center Ballroom.
The program will help local nonprofit leaders learn how they can access the USA Center for Healthy Communities Nonprofit Management Program.
Dr. Leon Haley, director of the Nonprofit Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh, will speak at the event. As director of the Nonprofit Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh, Haley develops outreach activities that support the development and management of community-based organizations. He will explain how nonprofits and the University can collaborate for nonprofit management training, support, and other services.
Haley has collaborated with many organizations including the Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House, the Pittsburgh Women's & Children's Hospital, and the Pittsburgh Transplant Center.
Haley has served as president and chief executive of the Urban League of Pittsburgh. At the University of Pittsburgh, he has been vice president of student affairs and dean of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
