The University of South Alabama’s National Alumni Association will host its annual awards reception and elections meeting on Friday, September 22 at 5:30 p.m. in USA’s Laidlaw Performing Arts Center.

The association will distribute four awards, including the Andy and Carol Denny National Alumni Excellence in Teaching Award and the Olivia Rambo McGlothren National Alumni Outstanding Faculty Scholar Award. Election of the association’s 2006-2007 board of directors and officers will also be held.

The event is free and open to all USA alumni. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
