President Gordon Moulton invites all University faculty and staff to the 2006 Employee Service Recognition Program and Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. in the Mitchell Center Arena. A video collage of USA employees will be featured.
Eligible employees with 15 or more years of service will receive lapel pins. Employees with 25 years of service will be honored with lapel pins and medallions. Employees with five and 10 years of service will be recognized and awarded pins by their department heads after the ceremony.
The USA National Alumni Association will also present awards to the 2006 USA-Team, recognized as outstanding University employees. The USA-Team will be recognized in their respective divisions. Annually, a committee appointed by each division head, reviews the nominations and selects one division winner for each of the following categories: Administrative (110), Professional (130), Technical (135), Clerical (140), Craft/Trades (150), and Service (155).
The USA Outstanding Committee, made up of previous award recipients and division selection committee chairs, review the USA-Team nominations and select one overall winner for each of the above categories.
The USA National Alumni Association will recognize and present plaques and a cash stipend to the winners during the program. Also, the Excellence in Teaching and Excellence in Academic Advising awards will be presented to faculty and staff member for dedicated service to the University.
