The University of South Alabama Mitchell College of Business Center for Real Estate Studies has released its real estate report for the third quarter of 2007.
In general, the Mobile overall real estate price trend rose a modest 2.2 percent.
“The important story here is the increasing trend line. Although monthly numbers may increase or decrease slightly from changes in the market, the number to watch is the direction and amount of the overall trend, said Dr. Don Epley, director of the Center for Real Estate Studies and distinguished professor of real estate at the Mitchell College of Business, “Since it is still moving upward, the average homeowner in Mobile still enjoys increasing value. That result is a good sign.
