USA Mitchell College of Business
Hosts Donor Reception
From left are donors Jerry Lathan, ’78, president, The Lathan Company; Charlie Jackson Jr., partner, McNeil, Jackson, Ahrens Financial Group, LLC; Wayne Davis, USA vice president for financial affairs; and G. Robert "Robbie" Baker, Jr., regional manager, Whitney Bank.

The USA Mitchell College of Business recently hosted a donor reception to honor the alumni, friends and businesses that have supported it throughout Campaign USA, the University’s first comprehensive fund-raising campaign. With the help of donors, the Mitchell College of Business has increased scholarship support, expanded the curriculum, added new faculty, and improved the learning environment for students. Shortly after the grand opening of the Joseph & Rebecca Mitchell Learning Resource Center in 2007, the College launched a campaign to renovate the existing facility. The building is now complete, featuring state-of-the-art technology, a contemporary learning environment, and a donor wall to recognize supporters.
