The School of Computer Information Sciences at the University of South Alabama is sponsoring Computing Day 2008 from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at the USA Student Center.
This event is being held to introduce high school and junior college students and others who are undecided about their majors to the field of computing technology. Prospective students will also learn about the career opportunities available and beginning salaries.
Some of the activities will include presentations by business partners, CIS students and faculty. A vendor fair along with demonstrations will be held during the event.
